I have been intuitive/psychic from a young age, often sensing the deeper, unseen connection that exists between all living beings. However, it was later in life—following the passing of my beloved dog, Bracken—that I truly began to explore and develop my ability to connect intuitively with animals, both in the physical world and in spirit.

Guided by this path, I committed to deepening my understanding through both study and practice. In 2025/26 I  completed Animal Communication Courses 101 and 102 (Live) with renowned animal communicator Danielle MacKinnon, and was awarded a Diploma in Animal Communication with distinction from the Centre of Excellence. In May/June 2026 I studied with Pea Horsley a UK Animal Communicator through the Shift Network on her ‘Sacred Kinship with the animals’ course looking at communication with wild animals, farmed and endangered animals. I learnt how to hold space for animals to communicate when they have/are experiencing trauma and loss as well as the different ways non-domesticated animals communicate. This training strengthened both the practical and spiritual aspects of my work, allowing me to connect with greater clarity, trust, and compassion.

In 2017 I undertook Reiki training for humans and animals and achieved Reiki Master Level. Prior to that, before moving to Devon I qualified with the Yorkshire Healing society in the practice of Spiritual Healing and I am also drawn to the energy of Crystals (one can never have enough crystals), and use crystals intuitively in my psychic and healing practice. I have also undertaken a number of tarot reading and oracle reading courses and mainly read oracle decks now using my intuition. Like crystals I have an extensive and ever growing number of decks :-)

Creativity has also been an important part of my soul’s expression. I hold a deep passion for painting animals and nature, capturing their essence and energy through my artwork. Over ten years ago, I began my creative journey through my business, Mizz Artz, initially offering original pieces before expanding into a range of products featuring my designs.

As my spiritual path evolved, I became increasingly aware of the energy we carry and the powerful impact it has on how we feel. With a desire to uplift and support others, I began creating inspirational jewellery—each piece hand-stamped with positive affirmations and creating pendants using carefully selected crystals, chosen for their supportive and healing qualities. Every piece is created with intention, designed to inspire and empower.

I am a multi-passionate creator – as my work naturally expanded beyond artwork, I felt called to create a dedicated space to offer animal communication readings, animal reiki, oracle readings and spiritually focused jewellery.
