Animal Communication FAQ’s
What is animal communication?
Animal communication is an intuitive way of connecting with an animal using the animals energy field, to gain insight into their thoughts, feelings and experiences. It can help you understand your animal on a deeper level, discover any insights to problems or issues your animal may be experiencing and strengthen the connection you share.
Can you communicate with animals who are living or in spirit?
Yes. I can connect intuitively with living animals and animals in spirit as I am connecting with the energy/spirit of the animal which is present whether they are in a physical body or not.
What can I ask my animal?
You can ask about anything that feels important to you, depending on the package you have booked. You might want to understand how your animal is feeling, ask about a particular situation, or simply find out what they would like you to know. There are some suggestions at the bottom of the Animal Reading page if you are unsure.
What information do you need about my animal?
I deliberately ask for as little information as possible so that I am not influenced by background information before a reading.
I only need your animal’s name, whether they are male or female, and whether they are living or in spirit. If the package you have booked includes questions, you will receive an email upon booking to request your questions.
Do I need to be with my animal during a reading?
No. As I am connecting to your animals energy/spirit your animal doesn’t have to be physically with you when I am doing the reading. Often the animal wont be acting any differently at all and will go about its day-to-day routine as usual.
How will I receive my animal communication reading?
Your reading takes place as a one-to-one video call or phone call. There is no written reading sent afterwards, so I recommend that you make your own notes during the session.
Animal Reiki Healing FAQ’s
What is Animal Reiki?
Animal Reiki is a gentle, non-evasive energy healing practice that originated in Japan. It works with universal life-force energy, supporting the body’s natural ability to restore balance, relaxation and wellbeing. I am a certified Reiki master and use the symbols and learnt practice to send Reiki to your animal. Your animal will draw in the Reiki energy required.
Can you give Animal Reiki remotely?
Yes. All of my Animal Reiki sessions are carried out remotely.
I believe remote Reiki can be just as powerful as hands-on healing because we are all connected through energy. Physical distance does not prevent the Reiki energy from reaching the animal. Within the Reiki practice there is a specific way to send the energy to a recipient at a different location.
Does my animal need to be resting for a Reiki session?
If possible your animal needs to be resting or asleep in order for the session to be the most beneficial, however your animals energy field will still receive the Reiki energy whatever it is doing.
But I do recommend booking a session when your animal is a rest if you can.
How does an Animal Reiki session work?
I use a photograph of your animal as a surrogate and call in the Reiki energy, using the relevant Reiki symbols as I am intuitively guided.
I send Reiki energy to your animal, allowing them to draw in whatever they require for their own healing. I visualise and send Reiki energy through all of the chakra points, working intuitively with your animal throughout the session.
I will email you after the session to let you know how the session went and If I received any intuitive information for you.
How long does an Animal Reiki session take?
I offer 30-minute and 50-minute Animal Reiki sessions.
Your animal will indicate to me when they have received enough Reiki energy. During a 50-minute session, I am able to spend more time working through each chakra point and visualising the healing energy using the Reiki symbols.
Does my animal need to be unwell to receive Reiki?
No. Reiki can be offered to animals whether they are experiencing difficulties or are simply in need of relaxation, balance and energetic support.
Can Animal Reiki help an anxious or stressed animal?
Reiki can provide a gentle, calming and relaxing experience for animals. Every animal is different, and each animal will draw in the Reiki energy according to what they require.
Can Animal Reiki replace veterinary treatment?
No. Animal Reiki is a complementary healing practice and should not replace veterinary diagnosis, treatment or advice. If your animal is unwell, injured or showing concerning symptoms, please consult your vet.

Do you work with all types of animals?
Yes I welcome enquiries about different types of animals. If you are unsure whether I can help with your particular animal, please get in touch.
Can I have both an animal communication reading and Animal Reiki?
Yes, you can have both. However, they need to be booked as separate sessions, as it is a lot for an animal to experience both in one go.
